{"id":1593,"date":"2023-01-04T16:00:12","date_gmt":"2023-01-04T12:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iqraprinciple.com\/?p=1593"},"modified":"2024-08-01T12:39:55","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T08:39:55","slug":"hq-10-54-70-pages-215-216","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iqraprinciple.com\/ar\/hq-10-54-70-pages-215-216\/","title":{"rendered":"HQ 10: 54-70, pages 215 + 216"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Welcome Friends:&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Ahlan wa sahlan<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Yusuf Ali\u2019s Translation of this&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=0&amp;toAyah=0&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">Chapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Muhammad Asad\u2019s Translation of this&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=0&amp;toAyah=0&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">Chapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>COMMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">1.&nbsp;&nbsp;After we discussed \u2018shirk\/associating partners with God\u2019 last time, and the dire recompense of those who were committing wrongs, our Reading now starts with Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=54&amp;toAyah=54&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">54<\/a> which speaks of EACH wrongdoing Self harboring its regret.<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp; The Qur\u2019an (<a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D9%86%D8%AF%D8%A7%D9%85%D8%A9\">here and in Q.34:33<\/a>) does not use the more common noun \u2018nadam\u2019 for \u2018regret,\u2019 but rather \u2018nadaamah,\u2019 which is much stronger.<a href=\"#_ftn2\" id=\"_ftnref2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Each Self would gladly give the entire earth and everything upon it -had it been theirs- in return for being saved from suffering the consequence of its actions!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We already encountered such grim situations in <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#3:91\">Q.3:91<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#5:36\">5:36<\/a> and shall encounter similar ones again in Q.13:18 and 39:47.&nbsp;&nbsp; Perhaps the most memorable verses describing what -or rather WHOM- a guilty person would give in exchange for being saved are <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#70:11\">Q.70:11-14,<\/a> which show us that when the suffering of the \u2018mujrim\/evil-earner\u2019 becomes intense, no loved one is dearer than oneself!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We\u2019ve spoken about regret before (search \u2018regret\u2019 in this site), and we have probably suffered instances of regret in our lives, some deeper than others, but:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Nothing can compare to the irreparable regret of the Hereafter, shown clearly in the word-form \u2018nadaamah.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The verse ends by asserting that they shall be judged with QisT (where what each person owes is fully delivered) and they shall not be wronged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=55&amp;toAyah=55&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">55<\/a> is about <a><strong>God\u2019s<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Command<\/strong> over everything in the Exalted Expanses and the Earth (His \u2018proprietorship,\u2019 in that everything belongs to Him), and that His promise is Truth and Justice, although most do not have cognition of that.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a>Notice the first two words \u2018Alaa inna\/<\/a>\u0623\u0644\u0627 \u0625\u0646\u064e\u0651\u2019 which are extremely decisive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2018Alaa\u2019 is a part of speech used to alert; what follows is an important notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2018Inna\u2019 is a part of speech used to assert; what follows is a firm confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&nbsp;Together these two words alert and assert that God\u2019s Command is over everything in creation, and they are repeated again to assert the truth of His promise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=56&amp;toAyah=56&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">56<\/a>: He is <strong>Commander of&nbsp;Life and Death<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D8%AD%D9%8A%D9%8A%20%D9%85%D9%8A%D8%AA%20\/p3\">(an oft-mentioned reality)<\/a>,and that <strong>to Him is our ultimate<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Return <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D8%A5%D9%84%D9%89%20%D8%B1%D8%AC%D8%B9%D9%88%D9%86%20-%D8%AC%D8%B0%D8%A7%D8%B0%D8%A7%20-%D8%A3%D9%87%D9%84%D9%87%D9%85%20-%D8%B9%D8%B0%D8%A7%D8%A8%20-%D9%82%D8%B1%D9%88%D9%86\">(another oft-mentioned reality).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=57&amp;toAyah=57&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">57<\/a>&nbsp;is an announcement to all Cognizant Humans, telling them that THIS is an Admonition from their Lord-Sustainer to them all, and a Healing<a href=\"#_ftn3\" id=\"_ftnref3\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/a> for what is in the heads\/chests\/Sudoor.<a href=\"#_ftn4\" id=\"_ftnref4\"><sup>[4]<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp; Furthermore, to The Faithful, it will also be Gift-Guidance and Mercy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=58&amp;toAyah=58&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">58<\/a> tells the Messenger to inform them that all the previously mentioned (admonition with healing, gifted-guidance and mercy) is of the bounty and mercy of God, and is something in which they should rejoice:&nbsp; It is of greater benefit than anything which they are gathering (for themselves in life)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">3. Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=59&amp;toAyah=59&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">59<\/a>&nbsp;bids him ask everyone a question of the utmost seriousness -seeing that God has given NO ONE the right to render \u2018Halaal\/unbound\/lawful\u2019 or \u2018Haraam\/bound\/unlawful\u2019 ANY of the sustenance He has provided:&nbsp; Has God permitted them to do that, or were they <em>forging<a href=\"#_ftn5\" id=\"_ftnref5\"><sup><strong><sup>[5]<\/sup><\/strong><\/sup><\/a><\/em> on God\u2019s behalf (their own lies)?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This rhetorical question is in fact a challenge to us all.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=59&amp;toAyah=59&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">60<\/a>&nbsp;continues along that line:&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>What do those who forge lies \u2018upon\/in the name of\u2019 God think (they would deserve) at the time of Resurrection?<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;The verse ends by showing us God\u2019s limitless bounty which most people tend not to appreciate.<a href=\"#_ftn6\" id=\"_ftnref6\"><sup>[6]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>4.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=61&amp;toAyah=61&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">61<\/a>&nbsp;awakens us to a reality which we should never forget, that <em>even our smallest, most insignificant deeds, are being witnessed and compiled!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This verse, dear Reader, should make us stop in our tracks!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">What is striking about this verse is that it speaks first in the singular addressing the listener\/the Messenger, telling him that (God is Witness to) whatever matter \u2018you\u2019 (singular) are occupied with and any Qur\u2019an you (singular) are reciting\u2026 then continues addressing everyone saying that whatever labor\/work\/deeds you all are doing, God is Witness <em>even as you all immerse yourselves in them<\/em>, be it the weight of an atom, or bigger or smaller, <em>everything is in a self-evident\/clear compilation<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The singular address -which then continues in the plural- made me think of two things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Firstly, that when it was revealed, it gave the Messenger solace in that God was Witness to both his being occupied with his duty as well as his recital of Qur\u2019an, while, at the same time being Witness to what everyone else was doing, whether they worked in support of the Message or in opposition to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Secondly, speaking to us now, this verse reminds us God that God is Witness of everything, placing our duties and our recital of Qur\u2019an at the forefront of all the other work we might be immersed in.&nbsp; SubHaanAllah!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">5.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verses&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=62&amp;toAyah=62&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">62<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=63&amp;toAyah=63&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">63<\/a>&nbsp;inform us (<a>by way of alerting and asserting- \u2018Alaa inna\/<\/a>\u0623\u0644\u0627 \u0625\u0646\u064e\u0651\u2019) regarding a category of people who are indeed exceptional: <a>\u2018Awliyaa\u2019ul-Lah-<\/a>\u0623\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647-\u2019- \u2018<em>Those with a close relationship to God<\/em>.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">It is amazing how God alerts us, drawing our attention to them, asserting that <a>upon them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">A \u2018wali&nbsp;\u0648\u0644\u064a-\u2019 of God is a title only He can grant, yet it is what every true worshipper aspires to!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The general description of <a>\u2018Awliyaa\u2019ul-Lah-<\/a>\u0623\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647-\u2019 is that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;They had Attained Faith and Trust \u0622\u0645\u0646\u0648\u0627\/\u2019aamanoo&nbsp;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;They were consistently Aware&nbsp;&nbsp;\u0643\u0627\u0646\u0648\u0627 \u064a\u062a\u0642\u0648\u0646\/kaanoo yattaqoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=64&amp;toAyah=64&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">64<\/a>&nbsp;tells us that, theirs (for \u2018Awliyaa\u2019ul-Lah-\u0623\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647-\u2019) are the Glad Tidings&nbsp;<em>in this immediate\/lowly life<\/em>&nbsp;and in the Hereafter.&nbsp; No alteration is there to God\u2019s words<em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em>That is the supreme Salvation\/Deliverance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We might wonder how one gets glad tidings in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Perhaps these glad tidings are carried to them by&nbsp; Custodian-Angels, oft-descending upon them, bearing comfort and encouragement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u0625\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0651 \u0627\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0630\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0631\u064e\u0628\u064f\u0651\u0646\u064e\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0640\u0647\u064f \u062b\u064f\u0645\u064e\u0651 \u0627\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0646\u064e\u0632\u064e\u0651\u0644\u064f \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650\u0645\u064f \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627\u0626\u0650\u0643\u064e\u0629\u064f \u0623\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u062e\u064e\u0627\u0641\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0632\u064e\u0646\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0648\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0628\u0652\u0634\u0650\u0631\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0628\u0650\u0627\u0644\u0652\u062c\u064e\u0646\u064e\u0651\u0629\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u064e\u0651\u062a\u0650\u064a \u0643\u064f\u0646\u062a\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u062a\u064f\u0648\u0639\u064e\u062f\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e&nbsp;\ufd3f\u0663\u0660\ufd3e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Note the beauty of these heart-warming verses (<a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#41:30\">Q.41:30<\/a> to 35) which show us that striving to \u2018straighten\u2019 ourselves, inviting to God, doing good deeds, actually announcing by word and deed that we are of The Muslimeen\/The Pure in Reverence to God, would lead&nbsp;to our being reinforced by Custodian-Angels, oft-descending&nbsp;&nbsp;upon us, comforting us.&nbsp; Perhaps it is their descent upon us that prevents fear and grief -and, as it seems, would also help us NOT to dread Death, that uncharted part of our life journey.&nbsp;&nbsp; This seems alluded to in HQ&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=62&amp;Ayah=6&amp;toAyah=6&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">62:6<\/a>&nbsp;where the Qur\u2019an challenges those who <em>claim <\/em>that they are&nbsp;\u2018Awliyaa\u2019ul-Lah&nbsp;\u0623\u0648\u0644\u064a\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647-\u2019 showing them clearly that death is the&nbsp;<em>last<\/em>&nbsp;thing they desire!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Becoming a \u2018wali\u2019 of God means beginning with&nbsp;the general criteria of attaining Faith and Awareness mentioned in Verse 63,&nbsp;while&nbsp;growing in our Selves and gaining closeness to Him by our actions ACCORDING TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS HE GAVE us&nbsp;in the Qur\u2019an:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">There is much benefit in reading and putting to action what is in <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D8%AE%D9%88%D9%81%20%D8%AD%D8%B2%D9%86%D9%88%D9%86\">the 14 verses<\/a> which mention \u2018Those upon whom shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.\u2019&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In HQ&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=46&amp;Ayah=13&amp;toAyah=13&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">46:13&nbsp;<\/a>we are told a description of such persons:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u0625\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0651 \u0627\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0630\u0650\u064a\u0646\u064e \u0642\u064e\u0627\u0644\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0631\u064e\u0628\u064f\u0651\u0646\u064e\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0640\u0647\u064f \u062b\u064f\u0645\u064e\u0651 \u0627\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\u0642\u064e\u0627\u0645\u064f\u0648\u0627 \u0641\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062e\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0641\u064c \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0647\u0650\u0645\u0652 \u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u0647\u064f\u0645\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0632\u064e\u0646\u064f\u0648\u0646\u064e&nbsp;\ufd3f\u0661\u0663\ufd3e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u00b7&nbsp;They acknowledge that their Rightful Lord-Sustainer is God (and therefore worship none but Him).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u00b7&nbsp;They <em>straighten themselves <\/em>as they go along (so as to keep to the Straightened Path.&nbsp; Keeping in line is absolutely necessary because life is full of crossroads, curves, barriers, and pitfalls\u2026 each forcing a loss of balance or a deviation off course).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Acknowledging God Alone as our rightful Rabb will constantly require us to straighten and restraighten ourselves as per that conviction, in the quest to become of those upon whom shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">It is heartwarming to remember that God is <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%22%D9%88%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%84%D9%87%20%D9%88%D9%84%D9%8A%22\">The Wali\/Protector&nbsp; -not only of The Aware and The Faithful<\/a> but also- of Those Who Attained Faith, as we noted earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#2:257\">in 2:257,<\/a> taking them\/us out of the darkness-es into the light!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>May we grow in faith, good deeds and all that would help us deserve one day to be among Awliyaa\u2019Allah!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">6.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=65&amp;toAyah=65&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">65<\/a>&nbsp;relieves the Messenger of&nbsp;<em>his<\/em>&nbsp;grief, peace upon him, a grief brought on by his people and what they were saying.&nbsp; Here we clearly hear the \u2018voice\u2019 of God comforting His Messenger -similar to other verses- and as God comforts him, we find ourselves feeling comforted as well, knowing that that ALL supremacy belongs to God, The All-Hearing, All-Seeing; <em>we are never alone.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Then Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=66&amp;toAyah=66&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">66<\/a>&nbsp;continues after it alerts and asserts- \u2018Alaa inna\/\u0623\u0644\u0627 \u0625\u0646\u064e\u0651\u2019 that -in fact- everyone belongs to God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Notice that while Verse 55 told us that God\u2019s \u2018proprietorship\u2019 was over every THING (maa\/\u0645\u0627), this verse tells us that it is over every ONE (mann\/\u0645\u064e\u0646\u0652).<a href=\"#_ftn7\" id=\"_ftnref7\"><sup>[7]<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">So <strong>God\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Command<\/strong> is over everything AND EVERYONE in creation, and people who shirk God\/associate partners with Him only follow conjecture (thann). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Here again we encounter the word &#8216;yakhruSoon,&#8217; variations of which appear five times in the Qur&#8217;an.  The verb &#8216;kharaSa&#8217; is about conjecture, but it is the conjecture that is more like speculating on -or &#8216;guesstimating&#8217;- something while falsifying results, lying to one&#8217;s own benefit; the word relates to speculating on the quantity of dates in a harvest (defined earlier when we read HQ. 6:148).   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=67&amp;toAyah=67&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">67<\/a>&nbsp;reminds us of the blessings of night and day which God rendered for us; we repose in tranquility by night and find wondrous visibility by day as we go about our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">7.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verses&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=68&amp;toAyah=68&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">68<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=69&amp;toAyah=69&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">69<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=70&amp;toAyah=70&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">70<\/a>&nbsp;address the serious allegation that God has a child, subHaanahu; God Who is completely Self-Sufficient and to Whom belongs all that is in The Exalted Expanses and the Earth\u2026?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This allegation is then challenged by asking such persons whether they have any <em>absolute, authoritative, timeless evidence<\/em><em>\/<\/em> <em>sulTaan<a href=\"#_ftn8\" id=\"_ftnref8\"><sup><strong><sup>[8]<\/sup><\/strong><\/sup><\/a><\/em> in this regard, or are they saying about\/against God that which they have no cognizance of\u2026 ??!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The last two verses in today\u2019s Reading present a warning of dire consequence for those who deny the truth and fabricate lies about God:&nbsp; They shall not be successful. They shall have only a brief use\/mataa\u0639 during this lowly, immediate life\/ dunya, after which their return shall be to God, after which He shall let them taste severe suffering regarding that which they had been denying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">See <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D8%AA%D8%AE%D8%B0%20%D9%88%D9%84%D8%AF%D8%A7%20-%D9%86%D8%AA%D8%AE%D8%B0\">all ten verses <\/a>which speak of the allegation that God has a child, <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D8%B1%D8%AD%D9%85%D9%86%20%D8%AA%D8%AE%D8%B0%20%D9%88%D9%84%D8%AF%D8%A7%20-%D9%86%D8%AA%D8%AE%D8%B0\">three in which the allegation gets promptly refuted<\/a> by simply speaking of God as \u2018Al RaHmaan,\u2019 the Most Compassionate CREATOR.&nbsp; By simply identifying Him as THE Creator, the mere thought that any of His creation could be \u2018His child\u2019 becomes both absurd and outrageous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Also notice that -after speaking about people who shirk God- many Qur\u2019anic verses are followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D8%B3%D8%A8%D8%AD%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%87\">the exclamation \u2018subHaanahu\/glory to Him.\u2019<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In our common daily use, we tend to say SubHaanAllah with regard to anything in creation that is extraordinary or amazingly beautiful, as we marvel and glorify God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We know that SubHaan Allah is about glorifying God and acknowledging His perfection; God is free from any fallibility, none can be likened to Him; perfection and majesty are His alone.&nbsp; That is how we see the expression SubHaanAllah in the Qur\u2019an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Enough said!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Our next Reading is from HQ 10: 71-88.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Peace unto all!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" id=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a> See <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/root\/%D9%86%D8%AF%D9%85\">all instances of the root-verb \u2018nadama\/\u0646\u062f\u0645\u2019<\/a> in the Qur\u2019an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"#_ftnref2\" id=\"_ftn2\">[2]<\/a> There is a rule in Arabic grammar stating that \u2018Added construct indicates added significance\/ \u0632\u064a\u0627\u062f\u0629 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0628\u0646\u0649 \u064a\u062f\u0644 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0632\u064a\u0627\u062f\u0629 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0639\u0646\u0649 .&nbsp; Many of us know the simple noun \u2018nadam,\u2019 yet the noun mentioned here is \u2018nadaamah,\u2019 which grammatically indicates a stronger \u2018nadam\/regret.\u2019&nbsp; Also, the meaning of sounds here with both the returning, reverberating \u2018aa\u2019 sound and the breathlessness of \u2018h\u2019 at the end serves to describe the feeling and heighten its significance: \u2018Regret\u2019 rises to a different plane!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"#_ftnref3\" id=\"_ftn3\">[3]<\/a> We should always remember that the <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D8%B4%D9%81%D8%A7%D8%A1%20-%D8%B4%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%A8\">Qur\u2019an IS a healing<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"#_ftnref4\" id=\"_ftn4\">[4]<\/a> This word is usually understood to mean \u2018chest\/breast,\u2019 but in common usage it has also pointed to the most elevated (noble) part of something, which is why Arabs give their guests the \u2018Sadr\u2019 of any seating arrangement.&nbsp; Shukr literally is \u2018appreciation\u2019 as in the opposite of depreciation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">When we fail to appreciate and make the most of whatever we may have been given, it inevitably depreciates.&nbsp; It decreases in amount or simply loses its worth.&nbsp; Let us remember that when we try to count our blessings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"#_ftnref7\" id=\"_ftn7\">[7]<\/a> While \u2018maa\u2019 is for things and incognizant creatures, \u2018mann\u2019 is for cognizant beings (&#8220;\u0645\u064e\u0646\u0652&#8221; \u0644\u0644\u0639\u0627\u0642\u0650\u0644);&nbsp; here the verses indicate that God\u2019s \u2018proprietorship\u2019 encompasses everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"#_ftnref8\" id=\"_ftn8\">[8]<\/a> Timeless, in the Now.&nbsp; SulTaan is a noun of the grammatical form \u2018fa\u2019laan\/\u0641\u0639\u0644\u0627\u0646\u2019 which conveys something superlative and current; active, in the now \u2018aan.\u2019 &nbsp;Challenging Shirkers that their allegations have no authoritative evidence sent in the now from God -sulTaan- <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D9%86%D8%B2%D9%84%20%D8%B3%D9%84%D8%B7%D8%A7%D9%86\">appears often in the Qur\u2019an. <\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome Friends:&nbsp;&nbsp;Ahlan wa sahlan!
