{"id":617,"date":"2022-07-17T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-17T19:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iqralaan.wordpress.com\/?p=617"},"modified":"2022-12-30T09:27:34","modified_gmt":"2022-12-30T05:27:34","slug":"welcome-friends-day-108-quran-10-34-53-page-213-214","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iqraprinciple.com\/ar\/welcome-friends-day-108-quran-10-34-53-page-213-214\/","title":{"rendered":"HQ 10:34-53, pages 213+214"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Welcome Friends:&nbsp;&nbsp;<em>Ahlan wa sahlan<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Yusuf Ali\u2019s Translation of this&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=0&amp;toAyah=0&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">Chapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Muhammad Asad\u2019s Translation of this&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=0&amp;toAyah=0&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">Chapter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>COMMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">1.&nbsp;Verse 34 asks a question, highlighting the serious topic of \u2018shirk\u2019 as it speaks to those who \u2018shirk God\/associate partners with Him.\u2019&nbsp; The verses present such people with a challenge, asking them to use their own minds to evaluate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>Who is indeed worthy of being worshipped?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This section is full of interactive questions, and the Qureish\/listeners often find the arguments&nbsp;<em>clinched<\/em>&nbsp;by what Prophet Muhammad, peace upon him, is told to say (many of today\u2019s verses are addressed to him: \u201cSay!\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The first two verses ask about&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=34&amp;toAyah=34&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=5\">Creation<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=35&amp;toAyah=35&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=5\">Guidance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Although Verse 34 is well-translated by both&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=34&amp;toAyah=34&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">Asad<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=34&amp;toAyah=34&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">Ali<\/a>&nbsp;-and we DO love their commentaries- Asad has added the words <em>\u2018How perverted, then, are your minds!&#8221;<\/em> although there is nothing about \u2018minds\u2019 in the Arabic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">As we know, Yusuf Ali is more cautious, putting his own words between brackets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>\u201c\u2026..then how are ye deluded away (from the truth)?&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Asad sees the \u2018partners\u2019 that they associate with God related to the topic of intercession, mentioned earlier, and says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u201c<em>This rhetorical question is connected with the false belief that those idolatrously worshipped beings are no more than \u201cintercessors\u201d between their followers and God..\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">2.&nbsp;Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=36&amp;toAyah=36&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">36<\/a>&nbsp;states a fact, <a>telling us that misguided people are actually following nothing but presumption or conjecture, which does not discount Truth (and Justice &#8211; al Haqq) in any way<\/a>! <a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\"><sup>[1]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Conjecture\/ Thann-&nbsp;\u0638\u0646&nbsp;&nbsp; is the opposite of \u2018yaqeen-\u064a\u0642\u064a\u0646\u2019\/\u2018certainty.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The word yaqeen-\u064a\u0642\u064a\u0646 &nbsp;appears <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D9%8A%D9%82%D9%8A%D9%86%20-%D8%B5%D8%AF%D9%8A%D9%82%20-%D9%81%D8%B1%D9%8A%D9%82\">8 times in the Qur\u2019an<\/a>, twice (in Q.56:95; 69:51) related to the Qur\u2019an itself being \u2018Haqqul Yaqeen\/\u2019Absolute Certainty\/ True and Just Certainty.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Haqq: Truth (and Justice).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Yaqeen: Certainty\/Certitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2018In Haqq:\u2019&nbsp; We already know that God created the Exalted Expanses and the Earth in Haqq\/\u0628\u0627\u0644\u062d\u0642 (Truth and Justice) and His Word IS The Haqq -the True and the Just ( \u0642\u0648\u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0642<a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#search\/quran\/%D9%82%D9%88%D9%84%D9%87%20%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%82\">Q.6:73<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Let us never take \u2018al Haqq\u2019 lightly.&nbsp; Truth is paramount!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In fact, Allah calls Himself \u2018Al Haqq,\u2019 that He is Al Haqq; I dare not explain this Attribute, as it belongs to Him and whatever we say will not do the word justice\u2026 but we might understand it as THE Truth; THE Ultimate Truth; THE Reality\u2026 and other meanings that are beyond our cognition but indicate His uniqueness as the sole Reality\u2026.\u0648\u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0623\u0639\u0644\u0645\u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Although God\u2019s attribute is beyond us, there are subjects in the Qur\u2019an related to \u2018Haqq\u2019 which we should be very aware of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">There is a powerful Chapter called \u2018al Haaqqah&nbsp;\u0627\u0644\u062d\u0627\u0642\u064e\u0651\u0629-\u2019 (the Implementer of Truth and Justice) where the verses start out by asking us whether we realize what the \u2018Implementer of Truth and Justice is.&nbsp; Then the verses pound at us (clearly when you listen to its recitation) notifying us of the fate of bygone Deniers, until we find out that the \u2018Implementer of Truth and Justice\u2019 is the Day when \u2018the Befalling befalls \/the Inevitable Event takes place\u2019 (\u0627\u0644\u0648\u0627\u0642\u0639\u0629)<a href=\"#_ftn2\" id=\"_ftnref2\"><sup>[2]<\/sup><\/a> which is Judgment Day.&nbsp; On that day Truth and Justice shall be implemented for all to behold and experience!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Reading that Surah\/Chapter, Suratul Haaqqah, we note how, at the end, we are informed of what the Absolute Truth is; Haqq Al Yaqeen\/THE TRUE CERTAINTY:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">It is no other than this Revelation!<a href=\"#_ftn3\" id=\"_ftnref3\"><sup>[3]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">[<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=69&amp;Ayah=0&amp;toAyah=0&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">69:40-52<\/a>] according to Asad:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Behold, this [Qur\u2019an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, (40) and is not \u2013 however little you may [be prepared to] believe it &#8211; the word of a poet; (41) and neither is it &#8211; however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart &#8211; the word of a soothsayer: (42) [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. (43) Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, (44) We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, (45) and would indeed have cut his life-vein. (46) and none of you could have saved him! (47) And, verily, this [Qur\u2019an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! (48) And, behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: (49) yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God&#8217;s revelation] \u2013 (50) for, verily, it is truth absolute! (51) Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer&#8217;s mighty name! (52)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">3.&nbsp;Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.islamitexts.org\/?noar=&amp;t=9&amp;k=10%3A37\">37<\/a>&nbsp;ties in with what we\u2019ve been saying about the issue of certitude\/yaqeen versus conjecture\/ thann which related to the Qur\u2019an being discounted by misguided people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">It behooves us here to announce -at least to ourselves- the certainty that we feel in our hearts that the Qur\u2019an is God\u2019s Word!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Personally, I thank God constantly that He has graced me with parents who insisted that I learn Arabic at an early age, so that I now know enough of it to be able to prove -by way of the Qur\u2019an\u2019s context and language- what I had always been certain of in my heart -with no need for proof:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">That this Qur\u2019an is God\u2019s Word!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse 37 is also very important in that it helps us differentiate between the two words,&nbsp; \u2018kitaab\u2019 and \u2018Qur\u2019an,\u2019 and brings us closer to defining \u2018Qur\u2019an.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We are now building on what we already know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We said earlier that Arabic grammar<a href=\"#_ftn4\" id=\"_ftnref4\"><sup>[4]<\/sup><\/a> indicates that any noun which follows the \u201cfa\u2019laan\u201d form- would be about something emergent (emerging in this instant) and superlative in its inherent characteristic (its verb at its ultimate, highest degree).<a href=\"#_ftn5\" id=\"_ftnref5\"><sup>[5]<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">So let us think:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">What is the difference between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-An entity called kitab\/ compilation\u2026 (material compiled together to form a unit)\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-An entity called Qur\u2019aan\/\u0642\u0631\u0622\u0646 \u2026(something superlative and emergent, in the Now; in the \u2018aan;\u2019 al aan\/\u0627\u0644\u0622\u0646 in Arabic means \u2018now\u2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The \u2018fa\u2019laan noun form is about SOMETHING \u2018LIVE\u2019 TAKING PLACE AS WE SPEAK, IN THE NOW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The Message God calls Qur\u2019an is ALWAYS \u2018in the Now,\u2019 speaking most eloquently and timelessly (never \u2018dated\u2019 or \u2018outdated\u2019), to every living Inssaan\/Cognizant Human who approaches it, imparting what Al RaHmaan.,The Most Compassionate Creator had demarcated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">All three nouns, RaHmaan, Qur\u2019aan, Inssaaan follow the Fa\u2019laan noun form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">All three nouns are superlative in their inherent characteristics, emergent in the Now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#55:1\">\u0628\u0650\u0633\u0652\u0645\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u064e\u0651\u062d\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0670\u0646\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u064e\u0651\u062d\u0650\u064a\u0645\u0650<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#55:1\">\u0627\u0644\u0631\u064e\u0651\u062d\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0670\u0646\u064f \u200e\ufd3f\u0661\ufd3e\u200f \u0639\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0645\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0642\u064f\u0631\u0652\u0622\u0646\u064e \u200e\ufd3f\u0662\ufd3e\u200f \u062e\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0642\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0625\u0650\u0646\u0633\u064e\u0627\u0646\u064e \u200e\ufd3f\u0663\ufd3e<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Al RaHmaan, \u2018\u0639Allama-al Qur\u2019aan, khalaqa-al Inssaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The Most Compassionate Creator, demarcated the Qur\u2019aan, created the Cognizant Human.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We do not wish to get sidetracked here, so for the sake of brevity, let us just say that the Qur\u2019an, being of the noun-form \u2018fa\u2019laan, is about a superior LIVE Message, in the now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This verse adds more information, telling us that the Qur\u2019an is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;A Confirmation of what had earlier appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;A Defining Exposition&nbsp;\u062a\u0641\u0635\u064a\u0644 to the Kitaab\/Compilation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u2013 \u0641\u0635\u0644&nbsp; faSala&nbsp;<a href=\"#_ftn6\" id=\"_ftnref6\"><sup>[6]<\/sup><\/a>\u2019 means to distinguish one part from another.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">There is more in <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#11:1\">HQ 11:1<\/a> and in <a href=\"https:\/\/tanzil.net\/#11:1\">41:3.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">As we already know, the Qur\u2019an and the Kitaab are not synonymous; the kitaab can guide us and can be \u2018static\u2019 when we treat it as such, however as Qur\u2019an it is alive, in the \u2018now.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">It is the Qur\u2019an which defines and distinguishes what the Kitaab contains.<a href=\"#_ftn7\" id=\"_ftnref7\"><sup>[7]<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">4.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=38&amp;toAyah=38&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">38<\/a>&nbsp;presents a challenge (similar to HQ<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=2&amp;Ayah=23&amp;toAyah=23&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">2:23<\/a>), in full certainty that no one can produce the like of the Qur\u2019an, not even one \u2018Surah\/Soorah.\u2019&nbsp; The word \u2018Surah,\u2019 which we might translate as \u2018chapter\u2019 is related to the \u2018soor, the very high, hard to scale wall that surrounds and protects a city.<sup> <a href=\"#_ftn8\" id=\"_ftnref8\"><sup>[8]<\/sup><\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Here the challenge is to produce any content that would be of such high caliber!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=39&amp;toAyah=39&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">39<\/a>&nbsp;gives us the GENERAL REASON WHY PEOPLE DENY OR BELIE the Qur\u2019an (or any truth for that matter):&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">They do so because they do not have well-rounded knowledge of it (literally: they have not encompassed the knowledge of it), and therefore, its implication has not yet come across to them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">This offers us amazing insight.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>This also highlights our responsibility, as Those Who Attained Faith, to make knowing the Qur\u2019an both desirable and accessible.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>Desirable, in that people would seek it because of the good they see in us.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>Accessible, in that we welcome and help all those who approach it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">But there is a point that must be mentioned here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Seeing that one cannot well-understand the Qur\u2019an or grasp its implication without access to its original \u2018Arabi, the responsibility of Muslim educators AND parents comes to the forefront, a fleeting opportunity afforded during their dependents\u2019 early formative years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>Every Muslim child should be taught Arabic, regardless of whether or not their parents know it.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">As for those of us who <em>do<\/em> know Arabic:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">WE are entrusted to do our best to acquaint ourselves with the Qur\u2019an, to seek a \u2018rounded\u2019 knowledge of it and grasp its implication, and then to convey our language and knowledge to others so that they could do the same.&nbsp;&nbsp;I cannot imagine a bigger responsibility than that placed on our shoulders in Verse 39, made even graver at the end:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong><em>\u201c..therefore observe the end-result of those who wronged themselves!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Yet, (as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=40&amp;toAyah=40&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">Verse 40<\/a> indicates), despite his best efforts the Messenger didn\u2019t succeed with everyone; some people attained Faith and some didn\u2019t; it is God who best knows the Corrupters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=41&amp;toAyah=41&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">41<\/a>&nbsp;the Messenger, peace upon him, is told to openly revoke the deeds of anyone who belies him (calls him a liar), and denounce them and their labors\/deeds. Each is responsible for his own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">5<a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verse&nbsp;<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=42&amp;toAyah=42&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">42<\/a>&nbsp;shows us how people can be \u2018listening\/yastami\u2019\u0639oon,\u2019 yet register nothing due to their \u2018incomprehension\u2019 (literally: laa ya\u0639qiloon\/ \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0639\u0642\u0644\u0648\u0646\/ they do not secure comprehension).<a href=\"#_ftn9\" id=\"_ftnref9\"><sup>[9]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=43&amp;toAyah=43&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">43<\/a>&nbsp;shows us how people can be \u2018looking\/yanthuroon,\u2019 yet register nothing due to their lack of vision \/discernment (literally: laa yubSiroon\/ \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0628\u0635\u0631\u0648\u0646\/ they do not discern).<a href=\"#_ftn10\" id=\"_ftnref10\"><sup>[10]<\/sup><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">After mentioning those whose hearing and sight do not register what the Messenger himself is telling them, verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=44&amp;toAyah=44&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">44<\/a>&nbsp;assures us that it is not God who wrongs people in the least, but it is people who wrong their own selves.&nbsp;&nbsp;They do NOT realize this, until too late, when their entire life, in hind-sight, seems like a single hour of a day (Verse&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=45&amp;toAyah=45&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">45<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">6.&nbsp;&nbsp;Verses&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=46&amp;toAyah=46&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">46<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=47&amp;toAyah=47&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">47<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=48&amp;toAyah=48&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=4\">48<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=49&amp;toAyah=49&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">49<\/a>&nbsp;are addressed to the Messenger Muhammad, peace upon him, as well as his people who are inquiring about the time when God\u2019s warning shall come to pass.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Read these verses and listen:&nbsp; Here anyone can clearly hear God\u2019s \u2018voice\u2019 as He mentions the possible death of His Messenger, and tells him to explain his inability at controlling his own harm or good fortune except as God wills!&nbsp;Verses such as these have convinced many a skeptic that the Qur\u2019an is not of human origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">7.&nbsp;&nbsp;In answer to his people\u2019s <em>constant<\/em> challenges<a href=\"#_ftn11\" id=\"_ftnref11\"><sup>[11]<\/sup><\/a> come the following verses, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=50&amp;toAyah=50&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">50<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=51&amp;toAyah=51&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">51<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=52&amp;toAyah=52&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">52<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.altafsir.com\/ViewTranslations.asp?Display=yes&amp;SoraNo=10&amp;Ayah=53&amp;toAyah=53&amp;Language=2&amp;LanguageID=2&amp;TranslationBook=7\">53<\/a>,&nbsp;continuing the discourse, with commands such as \u2018Say!\u2019 and questions such as \u2018\u2026what do they rush?\u2019 and \u2018What\u2026.? NOW?\u201d as well as forewarning scenes and words, which&nbsp;<em>could<\/em>&nbsp;be avoided if they attained Faith and followed the Messenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">We encountered here heart-wrenching statements of the Hereafter, foretold in warning: <em>\u2018..Taste everlasting suffering<\/em>!\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">It might be amazing to us that -despite the power of such words- to know that many of the older generation continued to deny.&nbsp; But that seems to be human nature.&nbsp; There is a generational gap with regard to ANYTHING that threatens the status quo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Then, after Verse 52 ends by telling Those Who Wronged to taste the suffering which is but recompense for what they had been earning, we end today with Verse 53 and Qureish\u2019s still skeptical question seeking news of the Hereafter, <em>\u2018Is it True?\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The Messenger is told to respond:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><em>\u201cYes, indeed, by My Lord! It is absolutely true, and you will not be evading\/thwarting!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">(They cannot evade that truth or thwart God Who is delivering it to them).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Enough said!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><strong>Our next Reading is from HQ 10: 54-70.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
