In 2010 this writer made a daring leap into the worldwide web putting her years of painstaking research into a daily blog format. At ‘iqrathechallenge,’ using Qur’anic context and the earliest 10th century lexicon, she went through the entire Qur’an, page by page, dispatching a several-thousand-page linguistic discussion. She tried to include the most important words and concepts which showed how both misunderstanding and misinterpretation were at the core of many issues that have been hindering Muslims as a community, causing disconnect in many people’s minds, and promoting social unease.
